Boise Idaho is located on the beautiful Boise River. The beautiful greenbelt, which is a green belt of trees along the edge of the river, is a nature lover’s delight. Downtown Boise, the capitol city of Idaho, is home to many art galleries and modern art museums.
The Boise River Greenbelt, a network of tree-drenched trails and beautiful parks bordering the bank of the river, is a marvelous way to see the river and the magnificent mountains that border it. At the downtown area, one finds the Boise Art Museum, a modern art museum. At the downtown area, you will find the Idaho State Capitol Building, a great place to take in the beautiful scenery of Idaho. The Grand, sandstone, former Idaho State Penitentiary are nearby.
The traditional arts are thriving in Idaho, although many smaller art organizations have cropped up. Boise has a flourishing recording business, the Boise Jazz and Arts Festival, which attract people from all over the world. Boise has a thriving music scene with top recording companies like Homegrown and Big Beat recording bands. There are also numerous other small recording studios and bands.
The performing arts in Idaho include the Idaho Center for the Arts, the Idaho Theatre, the Idaho Folk Festival, the Idaho Women’s Theater and the Idaho Mountainfilm Festival. For the theater, the University of Idaho theatre department offers several musical theater productions each year. Idaho has become a hub for the film industry producing some of the country’s best films and television shows. There are even movies being shot in Idaho.
When you come to Idaho and want to check out the outdoors, you must make your way to Idaho’s famous “Anatolian arts city”. Located on the north rim of the Snake river, this historic town of Idaho’s capital, Bonnersville, boasts many magnificent art museums. The famous Bonnersville Art Center houses more than two hundred works of art by more than one hundred artists. The center is currently holding fourteen exhibits.
Boasting a population of just over seven hundred people, Boise is a popular residential area, with an average income of thirty-three thousand dollars. This is higher than most cities in Idaho. There are many different types of businesses in the downtown area including retail shops, restaurants, hotels, motels, offices, bars, nightclubs and much more. It’s also home to Idaho’s largest college, the Boise State University. There are many local attractions such as the Boise Grand Place which holds a world record for the biggest concert ever held in Idaho, the Idaho Zoo, eries, and the Idaho Science and Technology Museum.
